Getting Your Baby Baptized

Congratulations! Having a new child can be a life changing experience. It is truly a wonderful thing to bring new life into this world. As parents you want the best for your children. You feed them and care for them and now, you want to have them baptized to bring them into new life in Christ. But how do you go about doing this? We’ve prepared a step-by-step guide of how to have your new child baptized at our parish.

Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: ~Catechism of the Catholic Church
