BAPTISM PREPARATION
Congratulations on the arrival of your new baby!
The St Pius X Church Community joins you in thanking God for the gift of new life.
As you are seeking the baptism of your child in the Catholic Church, the following information is presented to assist you as you start your child’s faith journey.
In requesting the baptism of your child you are asked to:
· Please give one month’s notice
· Contact St Pius X Parish office and register your child for baptism. (902) 894-8380
· Parents are required to participate in a Baptism preparation class that is usually scheduled for the Wednesday or Thursday evening the week prior to the Baptism.
The sacrament of Baptism is usually scheduled on the second Sunday of each month at 12 Noon.
