What is RCIA?:  The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a journey that gently leads adults (those unbaptized and those baptized in other faith traditions) into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ within the Catholic Church. The RCIA is modeled after the Catechumenate of the early Church where adults who sought entry into the Church went through various periods of growth and formation. Our Catechumens (unbaptized) and Candidates (baptized in another Christian faith tradition) will meet regularly for prayer, faith sharing and study of Catholic Church beliefs. A person may continue to participate in these sessions as long as they wish. Through Sacred Rites which are held at successive intervals, the Inquirer is introduced into the life of faith, liturgy and love. For details about this process please contact Fr. Tim at 894-8380.
