Merry Christmas…Today we celebrate the birth of the Christ child in Bethlehem.  This great feast, if we allow it, changes our lives forever.  At Christmas, we feel God is very close to us and at the same time we feel closeness to one another.  It is important that we focus our attention on the central message of this feast, the birth of our Savior.  May we experience some of the great joy announced to the shepherds. This joy springs from a sense of God’s presence with us and love for us.  On behalf of Fr. Martin, the staff and myself, we wish every one of you a Merry Christmas, and pray that the Christ Child will find a home in your hearts.  May God bless you and all those who belong to your family, whether they are near to you or far away.  Merry Christmas one and all!!!
