Retirements

• Rev. Gerard Chaisson will retire from active ministry.
• Rev. Keith Kennific will retire from active ministry.

Departure from Diocese

• Rev. Benedict Paulraj will complete his term in the Diocese of Charlottetown and return to his community.

Appointments

• Rev. Andrew Handrahan will be appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Bonaventure (Tracadie Cross), St. Eugene (Covehead), and St. Michael (Corran Ban).
• Rev. Jaison Koonanickal will be appointed Chaplain at the QEH.
• Rev. John Molina will be appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Paul parish (Summerside) and St. John the Baptist parish (Miscouche). 
• Rev. Krzysztof Stanula will be appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Dunstan parish (Charlottetown).
• Rev. Babu Jesuraj will be appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Malachy parish (Kinkora), St. Peter parish (Seven Mile Bay), and St. Joseph parish (Kelly’s Cross).

Effective July 3, 2025

Retirement

• Rev. Brian MacDougall will retire from the office of Vicar General.

Appointment

• Rev. Peter Wojakiewicz will be appointed Vicar General for one year.

• Rev. Albin Arsenault will retire from active ministry.

Appointments

• Rev. Mahesh Rathinasamy will be appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Augustine parish (Rustico), St. Anne parish (Hope River), and Stella Maris parish (North Rustico).
• Rev. Ashok Veerabathina will be appointed to pastoral ministry at St. Paul parish (Summerside) and St. John the Baptist parish (Miscouche).

 Effective September 1, 2025

Leave of absence

• Rev. Andrew Handrahan will begin a leave of absence to discern a vocation with the Franciscans. A replacement for him will be announced later.
