Effective October 5, 2026, SVDP volunteers will no longer shop and deliver groceries to clients.
Clients will continue to call the Parish Office for all requests (902-894-8380). The office will forward their request to a volunteer who will contact them to arrange a meeting time at the church. Based on the need, the clients will be issued Foodland gift cards to purchase their own groceries.
There will be no change to the procedure for oil/rent/electricity/gas cards.
